Limes focus is to help our families with nutrition and healthy eating habits. We believe that if the children and families help plant the vegetables, watch them grow they will be more open to eating them. We focus on nutrient dense foods in our food insecurity community. Limes test our soil,  plant in raised beds or containers and add nutrients to the soil. We coat our seeds with extra nutrients before we place them inside the nutrient riced soil. We test the brix in our vegetables with a refractometer to guarantee high nutrients. At the end of each program, we harvest our plants, cook them as a group and share a meal with what we have grew.
